| Directions From
Rio de Janeiro From Rio take the BR040 to Barbecena. Take the BR381 until you get to the Oliveira turn off on the right. Cross over the bridge with the BR381 underneath you. Continue on the Dual carriage way until you hit a roundabout, take a right. Continue on the road until you hit a T junction and take the right to Divinopolis. Continue past Carmo de Mata and after 10 Kilometers you will see an AGIP petrol station and Beira Rio Restaurant on your left. Continue past this and you will hit a round about - Continue towards Divinopolis - NOT towards Cláudio. After 1 kilometer you will have a turning to the right which will be signposted towards Itapecerica. You have to turn right to turn cross the road. Continue on the road towards Itapecerica after 5 kilometers you will see a green signpost for Sabarazinho on your right - TURN LEFT onto a dirt road. Continue on this dirt track keeping to the right on this road for 6 KM. You should now be at the quarry. Directions From São Paulo Take the BR381 until you get to the Oliveira turn off on the right. Directions from Belo Horizonte Take the BR381 to São Paulo, do not take the Divinopolis turn, 35 km or so from BH, but carry on for some 120 kilometers until you get to the Cláudio turn off on the right. Continue on this road to and past Claudio, which will be on your right. When you get to a large round about with the AGIP petrol Station on your left 13 km after Cláudio - TURN right. Continue towards Divinopolis. After 1 kilometer you will have a turning to the right which will be signposted towards Itapecerica. You have to turn right to turn cross the road. Continue on the road towards Itapecerica after 4 kilometers you will see a green signpost for Sabarazinho on your right - TURN LEFT into a dirt road. Continue on this dirt track keeping to the right on this road for 6 KM. You should now be at the quarry. |
